What Lifters Have To Say About
Fractional Plates
Hi All,
I just wanted to drop you all a little note to say that I am very satisfied
with the little PDA "gems" that I purchased from you recently. I had
a great workout using these tools to microload my sets and will definitely
spread the word to all gym trainees and owners to obtain and carry your plates
for all folks to use in their training.

Benjamin Prusinski

Thanks, the first set I bought have been great. My gym
actually bought them off of me (for what I bought them from you, which was fine
cause I got to use them for free). Now I'm switching gyms and need another set.
The initials on the weights are a cool touch.

John....
Thank you for getting those off to me. I have been reading Hardgainer for a few
years now and have often thought of getting the
fractional plates. Of course I am like everybody else. I put it off.
I had total hip replacement surgery in October 2002 and I was back in the gym
after 7 weeks. I couldn't do much lower but as soon as the doctor told me I
could I knew I would need the plates. At this time I can only leg press and I
have to pick a weight I can rep 40 times with. So at the present time I am
moving up from 250lbs on that. I plan to start stiff-legged dead lifting as
soon as he says I can too.
I have had a few people ask me about working out as it seems to them that I
don't do much in the gym but seem to be in relatively good shape. I am 54yrs
old...5'9...188lbs (trying to get to 190 - 195). I have explained the
Hardgainer theory and I hope I have influenced them.
Again .... thanks and I am sure I will be getting more
soon.
c ya

John,
Just wanted to tell you that I have received my order and that I was really
impressed at the speed in which it was completed and delivered, as I wasn’t
expecting it for at least a few more days. Thanks for your great service.

Just received my plate order. They look great! I look
forward to using them for a long time to come. It was a pleasure doing business
with you.
I'll definitely be buying some other items from you--got my eye on your shrug
bar with 1-3/8" grips, which may be my Christmas present to myself.
Keep up the good work! Best Regards,
Don Hill

I would like to order
an IVANKO SuperGripper to be billed & shipped per the data in my file,
Albert J Racette.
Send it FedEx ground.
Thanks.
Oh, the fractional plate set I ordered has worked out better then imagined. I
only recently [2001] got back into the lifting routine, after about a twenty
year hiatus from free weights, and a seven year hiatus from any machine work.
So being vastly out of shape, and having surpassed the half-century mark, I was
concerned about get back into strength training.
However, with some up-front good form advice from a friendly "pro"
lifter, and determination, I struggled through, got rid of the excess body fat,
and started adding muscle. As I progressed, I started to research more and more
about training and diet. Earlier this year I discovered Stuart McRobert, and a
reference to your "little gems".
Well, I do not know if it is age, condition, impatience, intelligence, or
stupidity, but the five and ten pound progressive increases soon became
unattainable; and the reps per set increases, until able to make those leaps,
both boring and, seemingly, only marginally productive. Figuring, "what
the heck", I ordered my set of fractional plates in mid-summer this year.
Now, though I stay closer to my minimum reps-per-set goals during my work sets,
I lift more weight each session. Though I know deep down that progression is
progression, whether reps or weight; I like the fact of adding a little more
weight each time better then just adding more reps. And, I am convinced I am
wearing the results better. And who knows, after I reach my work set weight
goals, I might even get to use the 1/16 through 1/4 pound plates in order to
continue progressing.

Hello:
I just wanted to drop
Piedmont Design Associates a quick note of “thanks” for the great stainless
steel basic fractional plate set I recently ordered. Your website was tucked
away in the last few pages of Stuart McRobert’s book Beyond Brawn. What a great
stroke of luck this was for me, as he advocates micro-loads such as those I can
now achieve with my new weight set from PDA. My order was filled on a Monday
and was delivered by Wednesday. This just happened to be my scheduled workout
day and I cracked the weight set out of the box before I hit the gym that night.
To say the least, they’ve already become a tremendous asset to my workouts.
Thanks again for the
great product,
Christopher S.

Hi John!
Just wanted to tell you that my fractional plates arrived today. They more than
exceeded my expectations. Functional and practical, I figured they would be,
but the feel of that cool, grey steel weighted in the palm of my hand is
positively sensuous -- a frisson of unexpected delight!
Thanks again for your wonderful products and great customer service.
Kind regards,

Brenda and John,
Thank you for the email.
Your products are the greatest thing next to sliced bread (ok maybe whole grain)
:)
Allow me to get a little pompous. I am very proud to have used such a fabulous
product, such as little gems. And often take the time to promote your product
(and website fractionalplates.com) to whomever takes notice. As you can imagine
not everyone understands how important is to put a tad more weight on the bar
each time. Your product helps me accomplish that goal. And it pleases me to
suggest PDA use to others.
Thanks, again. (and thank you for the heads up on casual ordering, now that I'm
'in' the system)
